Located in the historic centre of Arad, this school is the heart of tradition in the professional and technical fields of Arad. It is named after baron Francisc Neuman, a prominent figure in economic, cultural and sports life, with a prominent role in the textile industry in the area.

“Francisc Neuman” is the educational institution dedicated to community centres promoting partnership relations with industry, NGOs, cultural institutions etc. In this context, a large number of educational projects aimed at enhancing civic spirit, tolerance, and communication and teamwork skills.

Escola Artística de Soares dos Reis

A vocational school established in January 1884. EASR is one of two schools of Portugal specialized in (audio-)visual arts, and one that provides bilingual education for deaf students.

EASR has 930 students aged 15-18 and 160 teachers. It currently offers: Audio-visual Communication, Advertisement Design, Product Design, Artistic Production and 2D/3D Animation. These courses are preparing students for further technological specialization or higher
education, and for placement into the active working life.
